Chand Baori in Abhaneri village of eastern Rajasthan is one of the landmarks of India, wells are walled stone steps. It is the oldest wells in Rajasthan and is regarded as the largest in the world.
Baori Chand display completely invisible as well. With the structure of a perfect square and 13 steps, along the walls has a double staircase that form a triangle. A total of 3,500 stairs arranged in a symmetry to the bottom of the well depth of 20 meters.
Ancient wells were built in the 8th century and 9th by Raja Chanda Dynasty Nikumbha. The source of water used by residents around for centuries before modern water delivery. The well is now managed by the Archaeological Survey of India.
