Throughout the world, ancient cultures have made geoglyphs-geoglyphs (large motif is engraved on the landscape and generally can only be seen from the air) mysterious. The purpose and meaning of the Nazca Lines remains a mystery at this time, although a number of theories have been advanced. Marree Man
This impressive geoglyphs found in the Australian outback, depicts a man hunt native birds or wallabies with a throwing stick. Marree Man geoglyph is the second largest in the world. Recently discovered in 1998, researchers have determined that this geogyph created in modern times. However, the origin, meaning and purpose made remains a mystery. At the time of its discovery, there is only one entry point and one exit point in such sites, and no footprints or tire marks can be found. No claim of responsibility has created Marree Man.
Works Ancestors
Aerial photography has recently been revealed geoglyphs widely spread throughout Saudi Arabia, Syria and Jordan illustrate the array "wheel" among other motives. Nicknamed "The work of the Ancestors" feature is believed by some scientists have several thousand years old, which if true, would make them much older than the more famous Nazca Lines. There is no agreement on two key questions: When were they built? And why?
Uffington White Horse

Scientists suggest features, which are formed from the trench filled with the white chalk, probably first created during the Bronze Age between 1200 BC and 800 BC. Although it is widely believed that this feature depicts a horse, there are some who claim this feature is more like felines, which of course will actually add to the mystery of this feature, because there are no big cats roaming the British.
Paracas Candelabra
This amazing geoglyphs can be found on the north side of the peninsula Paracas Bay at Pisco, Peru. It is believed that this feature was made around 200 BC. Purpose and meaning is unknown, although theories abound speculative. Local legend says that it is a lightning rod or a servant of the god Viracocha, who is revered throughout South America. But others have suggested that this feature was built as a sign to sailors, or even as a symbolic representation of the hallucinogenic plant called Jimson weed.
